'Meet Abby' is a project created by student-led design team, Orion Desegno, in collaboration with Tuberous Sclerosis Australia (TSA) that aims to increase public awareness of a rare disease known as Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC). Our team of 5 worked with TSA to better understand people who live with TSC, their friends and family who support them as well as the volunteers who provide help to the community before writing a story that we thought could best communicate the different perspectives we had heard. We worked together to create the script, storyboard, characters, backgrounds, voice acting, motion design that resulted in 'Meet Abby' - the journey of a girl who learns about her condition as well as how TSA is able to aid her in her life with TSC.
